Accountancy Jobs Terms & Conditions
1. Definition
1.1 ‘Advertisement’ means any piece of advertising on the Website relating to jobs and positions within a specified industry.
1.2 ‘Candidate’ means any individual using and/or registering their details on the Website.
1.3 ‘Company’ means Wolters Kluwer (UK) Ltd, a company registered in
1.4 ‘Intellectual Property’ means any trade marks, trade names and all other intellectual property rights of whatever nature arising anywhere in the world whether registered or unregistered and including applications for the grant of any such rights. All Intellectual Property appearing on the Website belongs to the Company, unless otherwise agreed with a third party.
1.5 ‘Personal Details’ means any data submitted on the Website by a Candidate, including contact details and a Curriculum Vitae (CV).
1.6 ‘Recruiter’ refers to any employer, recruitment consultant, consultancy or third party advertising any job or position on the Website. Any logo or trade mark of a Recruiter has been submitted by the Recruiter themselves. The Company confirms that it has no partnership with, nor provides any endorsement of or has affiliation with any Recruiter.
1.7 ‘Website’ means any of www.accountancyjobsonline.co.uk,
www.passjobsonline.co.uk, www.taxcareersonline.co.uk and
www.payjobsonline.co.uk which are all websites owned and operated by Wolters Kluwer (UK) Ltd.
2. General
2.1 By using the Website, each Candidate and Recruiter agrees to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
2.2 The main purpose of the Website is to facilitate the introduction of Candidates and Recruiters to one another in the recruitment process of specified industries.
2.3 The Company reserves the right to revise these Terms and Conditions at any time without notice.
3. Carrying out a job search & submitting your Personal Details
3.1 A Candidate may search for and view details of Advertisements, and may contact a Recruiter directly.
3.2 A Candidate may also choose to submit or upload their Personal Details and/or to request that further details in relation to an Advertisement (or similar jobs) be sent to them by email. Any such submission or uploading is at the Candidates own risk and the Company accepts no liability for any claim arising from such submission or uploading.
3.3 After submitting or uploading their Personal Details onto the Website, a Candidate may choose to make such details available to be viewed by all Recruiters or by specified Recruiters only. A Candidate may remove their Personal Details at any time by following the steps outlined on the Website.
3.4 The Recruiter and the Candidate each warrant that all information submitted and/or uploaded by them shall be virus-free and shall not contain any corrupt files or data which may in any way interfere with the running of the Website.
4. Data Protection
4.1 All information submitted or uploaded will be held either by Wolters Kluwer (UK) Ltd or by their third party hosting provider.
4.2 The Company shall comply with the provisions of the Data Protection Act 1998 as they relate to any data used or supplied in accordance with the Website.
4.3 If a Candidate requests details of an Advertisement to be sent to a friend, then the Candidate gives consent for the Company to provide such details by email to that friend.
4.4 Any information that is available to download or print from the Website must only be used for your own personal use and must not be used for commercial gain.
4.5 Data Protection Act 1998 By submitting your Personal Details, you agree to Wolters Kluwer (UK) Ltd (and its third party hosting provider) processing and storing your data for the provision of products and services, analysis and administration purposes. By uploading your Personal Details, you are able to choose whether to make such information available to Recruiters. This information may be shared with other companies in the Wolters Kluwer group. If you are a registered user on the site, you also have the opportunity to opt-in to receive marketing literature from Wolters Kluwer (UK) Ltd and/or third parties by mail, telephone, e-mail, fax or other means for marketing purposes. 5. Information appearing on the Website
5.1 The Company does not vet information posted by Candidates or Recruiters. However, the Company takes reasonable steps to ensure that it only works with reputable organisations and that all information appearing on the Website (including information submitted by Candidates and Recruiters) is true, accurate and kept up-to-date.
5.2 Notwithstanding clause 5.1 above, the Company accepts no liability whatsoever for the content or accuracy of information on the Website and furthermore, accepts no liability for any errors, omissions, or for any information posted on the Website, any communication (including emails) passing between Candidates, Recruiters or any other third party, or for the removal of any Advertisement.
5.3 The Company has the right to review all information appearing on the Website. At its sole discretion, the Company reserves the right at any time to immediately amend or remove any part of the website without limitation (including the Privacy Policy and these Terms & Conditions). This may include any information that the Company deems inappropriate, inaccurate or defamatory.
5.4 The Company gives no guarantees and makes no representations regarding the suitability or otherwise of any Candidates and/or any jobs or positions. Candidates and Recruiters using the Website are advised to make enquiries as to the accuracy of any information provided to them arising out of their use of the Website. Such enquiries may include the request of appropriate references.
6. Access to the Website
6.1 The Company takes reasonable steps to ensure that access to the Website is uninterrupted. However, the Company accepts no liability whatsoever for any loss arising out of any period that the Website is unavailable for whatever reason.
7. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
7.1 This Agreement shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of

By registering on one of these websites, you will automatically become a registered user of the other three websites. Therefore, registration is only required once.
4) For the iPOD prize Draw:
4.1 subject to the eligibility requirements outlined below, entry into the iPOD Touch Draw is automatic upon registering as a user on one of the Websites
4.2 only those individuals who have registered on one of the Websites by 11.59pm on the last working day of each month will be entered into the draw that month. The draw will take place on the 1st working day of the following month
4.3 there will be 6 monthly draws for each of the following months: July, August, September, October, November & December 2009
4.4 the opening date for being entered into each monthly draw is 12am on the 1st of every month

4.6 eligibility is tied to registration on one of the Websites and only one entry per person will be accepted.

5.2 only individuals who have registered on one of the Websites and who have applied for a role advertised on one of the Websites are eligible to be entered into one of the monthly draws.
5.3 all previously registered and newly registered candidates who apply for a role in the month that the draw takes place will be eligible for entry into these draws
5.4 there will be six monthly draws for each of the following months: July, August, September, October, November & December 2009
5.5 the opening date for being entered into each monthly draw is 12am on the 1st of every month
5.6 only those individuals who have registered and applied for a job on one of the Websites by 11.59pm on the last working day of each month will be entered into the draw that month. The draw will take place on the 1st working day of the following month
5.7 there is one Holiday Voucher worth £500 to be won at each monthly draw
5.8 as stated above, eligibility is tied to registered users applying for a job on one of the above Websites. One entry per each job application is permitted, and only one entry per person will be accepted per each monthly draw.
6) No purchase is necessary.
7) No responsibility will be accepted for lost or delayed entries. Proof of online completion will not be accepted as proof of receipt.
8) Winners will be chosen at random and will be selected by an independent adjudicator.
9) The prize is not transferable, cannot be changed and there is no cash alternative. However, the Promoter reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to offer an alternative prize or cash alternative in the event that the original prize is not available.
10) The winner will be notified by email within 30 days of the closing date. The judges decision will be final and no correspondence shall be entered into.

13) The Promoter reserves the right to amend these Rules at their discretion and the right to withdraw or amend the Draws at any time without notice.
